Riding Schools are regulated by the Riding Establishments Acts 1964 and 1970. Licences are granted annually after an inspection by an approved Veterinary Surgeon. The inspection includes a health check on each horse. Make sure that anyone offering riding lessons is registered, this is your guarantee that the horses are properly cared for.
